The Kogi State President, Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, Comr. Mohammed Sanusi, says Local government Autonomy if achieved and effectively implemented will end insecurity, poverty in the country.
Comr. Sanusi made the disclosure in a chat with Newsmen in his office, said if passed into law and effectively implemented, Local Government autonomy will reduce rural-urban migration.
The NULGE President added that with local Government autonomy, it has the capacity to equally check rural urban mitigation and curb unemployment.
The NULGE President praised Gov Usman Ahmed Ododo for his outstanding achievements in office since assumption of office, commended him for the prompt and improved payment of salaries of Local Government workers in the State.
