The Senator Elect for Kogi West Senatorial District, Hon Sunday Karimi has expressed shocked and sadness over the demise of Member Representing Yagba East State Constituency, Hon Musa Jimoh Omiata, whose death occurred yesterday after protracted illness.
The Senator Elect said it is devastating to lose a vibrant and articulate lawmaker whose robust contributions to the lawmaking sector cannot be over emphasized, described his death at this critical time as a monumental loss to Kogi state, the nation and humanity at large.
Hon. Karimi said words failed him to describe Hon. Musa Jimoh in the real sense of it, stressed that he is a lawmaker who’s robust and meaningful contributions remains unquantifiable.
Hon. Karimi commiserated with the wife, children of the deceased lawmaker, other immediate family members, Alu Traditional Council, the people of Yagba East Constituency over the death of there beloved brother, father, grandfather, political and community leader, Hon Musa Jimoh, prayed that God will grant him eternal rest.
