Kogi West Senate: It’s the turn of Yagba – Ex Kogi West Senatorial District Candidate

The People of Kogi West Senatorial District, have been asked to use the 2023 Senatorial election to unite themselves by ensuring that they support a Yagba Senatorial Candidate.

The second runner-up in the 2019 Kogi west Senatorial election and currently Special Adviser to Governor Yahaya Bello on Civil Service and Labour Matters, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi made the disclosure while speaking with Newsmen, says it is the turn of Yagba.

Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi who is also a Chieftain of the APC said the people of Kogi West must use the 2023 senatorial election to unite themselves by supporting a Yagba Senate candidate in order to be seen as a fair, just and equitable people.

Hon Bode Adeyemi who made this assertion over the weekend at a public function says for
Kogi West 2023, It should be the turn of Yagba.

Kogi West people he pointed out must unite for a Yagba candidate so as to strengthen the cord of unity, engender equity and enthrone fairness according to the Ex Senatorial Candidate.

Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi revealed that Hon. Sunday Karimi is the best candidate with capacity for the job, pointing out that his emergence as the Senator would help bridge the existing gap of discord and unite the people.

Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi explained that the Senatorial Zone needs to unite herself for future leadership in Kogi State by ensuring that the principle of equity, fairness and justice prevails in their own handling of the Senate position among the three federal constituencies that constitutes the senatorial district.

He says allowing Hon. Karimi to emerge remains the only panacea that will present the zone as serious, fair, equitable and ready to be given the governorship position in the future.

The Governor’s aide says the Lokoja/Kogi federal constituency produced Sen. Tunde Ogbeha between 1999-2007 while Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu have produced Senator Smart Adeyemi and Senator Dino Melaye between 2007 and 2023, hence it in the interest of justice, fairness, equity and moral justification for the people of Yagba with highest number of local governments in the zone, they should be allowed to take the 2023 Senate.

He warned the people of the Zone against further dividing itself against collective leadership and political benefits coming in the future. He says that the zone must be politically calculative and administratively correct to be able to get higher leadership positions described 2023 as a defining moments for the people to prove that they are willing for greater position.

Omoluabi said the time of disunity and division in the zone is long over, said the people are now more wiser and are ready to play inclusive politics devoid of unnecessary anihilation of a part of the zone, thereby creating untold political differences among the people of three federal constituencies.

Omoluabi also commended the All Progressives Congress in Kogi State under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello for ensuring principles that binds the people together rather than divide them by ensuring that the Senate seat goes to Yagbaland.

He said the politics of inclusion and fairness of the governor introduced to the state has strengthened the party and positioned it for victory in 2023.

While speaking on the candidate, he said it is obviously undeniable that Hon Sunday Karimi perfectly fits into the requirements of the ideal Senator of the people of Kogi west for 2023.

He noted that Hon Karimi has gathered great experience both legislative and political needed to give an unassailable and results-oriented representation the zone needs.

He says Hon Karimi is a humble, focused and very humane personality that will provide far reaching legislative and democratic benefits for the zone and the people.

Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi expressly declared that the right place for Kogi west Senate to come from is Yagbaland and the right person to serve is Hon Sunday Karimi because the federal constituency and the personality of APC Candidate fits into definition of equity, fairness and justice as Kogi West is presently constituted.

As a party man and concerned stakeholder of the senatorial district, I have the responsibility to support equity, fairness, justice and of course the standard bearer of my party who perfectly fits into the demand of the moment.

Hon Sunday Karimi is therefore the candidate that will unite the senatorial district towards collective prosperity Omoluabi said

He further enjoined people of living conscience, opinion leaders and stakeholders of the Senatorial district to take a decision to ensure that Yagba Federal constituency is given all the needed encouragement, support and votes to be able to produce the next senator for the sake of posterity.
