The Alper-Doger Scientific Index, a ranking and analysis system based on the scientific performance and scientific productivity of individual scientists has named Kogi State University, Anyigba as the 74th top University in Nigeria.
The Scientific Index also says Lecturer at the Institution, Dr. Olarewaju Oluseyi Ifatimehin, currently ranks number one, having satisfied requirements on various academic areas of interest with focus on Google Scholar’s total h-index scores enlisted for all academicians by the analysis system.
Dr. Olarewaju Oluseyi Ifatimehin, who is of the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies in Kogi State University, Anyigba topped rankings covering relevant Citations, Research material on Remote Sensing, Urban Geography, Geographic Information Systems, Natural Sciences, amongst others.
