Kogi JNC Chairman, Olusegun Alemeru commends Gov Ododo, S. A. Labour for projecting the image of the State
Chairman of Kogi State Public Service Joint Negotiating Council, Comrade Olusegun Alemeru says the efforts of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in building a better government and workers relationship should is commendable.
Comrade Alemeru gave the commendation in Abuja shortly after the visit to the leaderships of organized labour.
He expressed satisfaction with the Governor’s disposition to workers welfare, emphasizing that it was a departure from the past.
According to him, the provision of over three hundred and seventy million naira loan for farmers in the state was a right step in the right direction as it will go along way at improving food production.
The JNC Chairman noted that so far, Governor Ododo has proved his competence and urged the people to support him.
Comrade Alemeru also thanked the Special Adviser on labour, Comrade Onuh Edoka for cementing the relationship between labour and government, describing the step as very rewarding.
He said the visit to labour houses in Abuja, projecting the image of the present administration was highly commendable.
Comrade Alemeru assured of better governance in the State, adding that there will be less issues on the proposed minimum wage when passed into law.
