Kogi Groups Hail Hon. Paul Gowon Haruna for Facilitating Construction of 26Km Etutekpe-Oganenigu Road
The Oganenigu Community Development Association (OCDA) and Oganenigu People’s Mandate (OPM) have showered encomium on Rt. Hon. Paul Gowon Haruna, alias IJN, for facilitating the construction of the 26 kilometres Etutekpe Oganenigu Road.
A statement by Abimaje Ekele Proph, President of OPM, and Engr Dickson Idakwo of OCDA, said going by IJN’s track record right from when he was at the Kogi State House Assembly, he represents a renewed hope for the voiceless.
It partly read, “As a member of the House of Representatives, representing Bassa/Dekina Federal Constituency, Haruna has been a strong advocate for his constituents’ needs, and his efforts have not gone unnoticed.
“The federal road project he facilitated is expected to bring significant development to Oganenigu community, improving the lives of its residents, a testament to Haruna’s commitment to his constituents and his dedication to bringing about positive change.
“The OCDA and OPM’s expression of applause for Haruna is not an isolated incident, as he has consistently received accolades from his constituents for his efforts to address their needs.
“His passion for serving his community is evident in his work, and he continues to be a shining example of effective representation.”
Additionally, the groups also acknowledged the receipt of two million Naira (2,000,000.00) from the lawmaker, which is already being used for the construction of drainage system in the community.
According to the groups, Haruna’s leadership style is characterised by his ability to listen to his constituents, understand their needs, and work tirelessly to address them.
Urging other representatives to emulate him, the groups said Haruna’s exceptional leadership qualities have set him apart as a role model for other representatives to follow.
