SAYS IGU FISHING FESTIVAL WILL FAST TRACK FOREIGN EARNINGS AND EXPOSE KOGI STATE TO EXTERNAL INVESTMENTS.
The State Chairman of the governing All Progressives Congress, Alhaji Abdullahi Bello aka Dollar, has taken a critical assessment of the just concluded National convention of the party which went hitch free to the security architecture provided by the indifatigable and the political leader of Kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
Abdullahi Bello ,who was spotted at the ancient city of Kotokerfi , Kogi local government area for the pre Igu fishing festival which today and end on Friday, explained that the rancour free observed was the technical security support and know-how put in by the Governor.
The state Chairman of the All Progressives Congress said with the emergence of the National executives to run the party affairs ,it is we and all its candidates were set to win convincingly all available positions during the 2023 elections in the country
Abdullahi Bello Congratulated newly elected national officers for their overwhelmed political successes recorded at the convention and expressed explicit confidence that the new leadership of the party under the watch of Senator Adamu Abdullahi would bring their knowledge and experiences to bear for the success of the party in the future outings.
He hailed the wife of the Governor , Hajiya Rashidat Bello for taking over the sponsorship of the annual fishing festival stating that the gesture will in the nearest future make Igu fishing festival to compete favourably with Argugu fishing festival of Kebbi State.
