Kogi State Chapter of Jamaatu Nasril Islam has described the late Onu Abocho, Alhaji Tijani Okwutachi as a forthright leader who took his religion serious.
The state Chairman of the organization, Ambassador Usman Bello stated this at the burial of the late traditional ruler at Abocho.
The Chairman recalled the support of the deceased to the growth of Islam and prayed Allah to accept his soul to paradise.
In a similar vein, Kogi State JNI has condoled the Chief Imam of Ayere in Ijumu Local Government Area, Alhaji Ajiboye Badrudeen over the gruesome murder of his wife by unknown assailants.
The State Chairman of JNI, Ambassador Usman Bello in a remark while on a condolence visit to Ayere urged him to be consoled in the fact his wife devoted her life to God.
In a remark, the state Secretary of JNI, Alhaji Isa Adeboye advised the Imam to leave vengeance for Allah. Responding, the Chief Imam of Ayere thanked the leadership of the State JNI for the visit and wished them well in all their endeavors. The delegation also visited the Alayere of Ayere, Oba Solomon Afolabi over the sad incident in his community.
