Inauguration of FOB: You have proven that Omala LGA is dear to your heart – Hon. Umar Yahaya Appreciates Gov. Ododo.

 

The Member, Representing Omala State Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Umar. Yahaya has described the Inauguration of Military Forward Base in Omala as another indication that Omala is his second home.

The Lawmaker made the disclosure at a
Speech he Delivered At the official Inauguration of Military FOB at Bagana, Omala LGA of Kogi State.

According to the Lawmaker Gov. Ododo made the promise and has matched words with action, assured that the people of Omala LGA will reciprocate the gesture of the Governor to the area now and in the future.

In a speech he delivered and made available to Newsmen, Hon Umar said Gov. Ododo has shown unprecedented reasons that his love for Omala people in ensuring peace of lives and properties remains unchallenged.

“Permit me Your Excellency, to place on record, that this visit today is the third time in a row that Your Excellency will be visiting Omala LGA within the first one year of your administration. This feat achieved by His Excellency is not only unprecedented. It is first in history for our Local Government and has redoubled our support for your administration.

“Your Excellency, today will forever remain indelible in the anals of the history of the people of Omala LGA. Your visit today to commission the Military Base in Bagana, underscores the veritable place you have for the well-being and the security of lives and properties of the people of Omala LGA.

“While the security of lives and properties of the people of Kogi State has topped your administration’s priority since your assumption of office, without sounding immodest, you seem to have made that of Omala LGA, the apple of your eyes.

“It is therefore without mincing words that the love your Excellency has shown to Omala LGA, since your assumption of office as Governor of our dear state with your people oriented programs and policies, has proven that Kogi State is blessed to have a Servant leader who matches words with action with the well-being of the people a cardinal objective.

“Time will not permit me to do an overview of why the Chief Servant, Your Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo remains the toast of Kogites, Civil Servants, Pensioners, Women, the Youths and Students. The achievements speaks for itself as today, Kogi State, courtesy of the people oriented policies of Your Excellency, has become an envy, daily in the news for the good reasons and now has become a hub for socio economic investment.

“Your Excellency , your visit today, being the third in a row in just a year in office has made you an household name in Omala LGA. Your Excellency, be rest assured, that with your two eyes closed, the people of Omala LGA will at anytime the opportunity present itself, will reciprocate your love for them in a hundred fold return in support for you, your administration and the All Progressives Congress.

“Permit me Your Excellency to use this medium to thank your administration’s approval and construction of the ongoing Abejukolo Township Road.

“Similarly, your deployment of Joint Military troops to crisis torn areas of Omala when it matters most, culminating today in the official Inauguration of the Military Base, a feat that has been described as one that would bring the much desired lasting peace for our people remains a watershed.

“Your Excellency, Your recent lifting of the suspension of the Paramount Ruler of the Chairman, Omala Traditional Council, Onu Ife, Chief Boniface, is equally another masterstroke that has not only rekindled the love of Omala people for your administration, it has made you occupy a permanent place in the hearts of Omalites.

“Your Excellency, without mincing words be rest assured of the cooperation of the people of Omala LGA who have looked forward to a Military Base as a panacea for lasting peace. We will collectively work with the troops in providing the necessary support and information to enable them achieve success.

“Once again to the Chief Servant, welcome home as we will continue to pray for the success of your administration.

“Accept our sincere appreciation as we wish you journey mercies back to your destination”.
