As Muslims around the globe mark the commemoration of this year’s Eid celebration, tagged “Eid of sacrifice”, the Executive Chairman of Omala Local Government Council, Hon. Chief (Alh) Ibrahim Yakubu Aboh has congratulated Muslims from the area and around the world for witnessing this day.
In a Sallah greeting message signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman, Suleiman Alih said, “This day has brought us a moment of reflection on the significance accompanied with it”
“It is a day for giving in a most modest and charitable way as prescribed in the Holy Qur’an. Let those practice be sustained for the benefit of humanity. May GOD accept all our good deeds in this period and beyond as an act of worship. May HE purify our intentions and accept our sacrifices”.
“As we pray for peace, progress and development, let’s endeavor to pray for our brethren who embarked on the Holy pilgrimage to Mecca. May ALLAH return them back to us safely and may we continue to experience more peaceful and prosperous atmosphere”.
