Lokoja/Kogi Reps Member, Hon. Shaba Ibrahim, today, Wednesday February 10th 2021 held an exercise for empowerment of artisans within the Constituency.
The exercise that held in both local governments had in participation, constituents from all categories of work and skill-set.
The aim of the empowerment programme, is to give succour and support to the artisans within the Constituency whose businesses and handworks suffered due to the negative effect of the COVID-19 pandemic last year. Over 160 constituents were captured in the exercise.
Constituents who participated and observed the exercise as it took place in both Local Governments, expressed satisfaction in the conduct of the exercise and praised Hon. Shaba Ibrahim for his disposition to the plight of the artisans.
They praised the lawmaker for such an initiative as he continues to bring home to the Constituency, dividends of democracy and good governance.
