The All Progressives Congress Flagbearer for Kogi West Senatorial District, Hon. Sunday Karimi has promised to provide quality legislation that would help improve the well-being of the people of Kogi West Senatorial District.
Hon. Karimi made the promise when he visited the Acting Maigari of Lokoja and Ward Heads of Lokoja LGA Traditional Council in Lokoja, to seek the blessings of the Traditional Rulers as part of activities while on campaign in the Local Government Area.
Hon. Karimi described the place of the Traditional Institution as one that would attract his legislative representation towards making laws that make them have constitutional roles, added that his priority in terms of making laws if elected would be to bring democracy dividends to the doorsteps of the people, solicited the blessings of the traditional Ruler.
Hon. Karimi urged the Traditional Ruler to appeal to his people to vote for him based on his antecedents, pointing out that with his legislative representation that brought democracy dividends to the people of Yagba Federal Constituency when he served, promised to do same in Kogi West if elected.
If elected, education, agriculture and empowerment for women and Youths would be his focus, promised to attract infrastructure that would make agriculture in Lokoja LGA area attractive, urged the people of Lokoja LGA to have an abiding faith in the APC.
He assured that he would go beyond the limit in providing employment for youths of the constituents if elected, described the traditional ruler as forthright, courageous and a shining example in Traditional leadership.
Earlier in a remarks, the Director General Campaign, Hon. Suleiman Babadoko, described Hon. Karimi as best fit for the Senate, solicited support for him from the Lokoja LGA traditional Council, described the APC Flagbearers as credible and saleable.
The APC Kogi West Senatorial Candidate were received by the Waziri of Lokoja, Alhaji Idris Babakurum and the Hakimi Chikingida, Alh Ahmadu Talle Abbas.
