Eid Fitr: Kogi State Branch, Council of Ulama’u Congratulates Muslim Ummah.


 

The Kogi State Branch, Council of Ulama’u of Nigeria thanks Almighty ALLAH for Granting Muslims yet another rare opportunity to enhance their spiritual, economic and social development and growth.

 

 

The Council heartily congratulates the Muslim Ummah in Kogi State in particular and Nigeria in general for the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan Fast.

It salutes their courage for undertaking this auspicious religious duty despite the challenges experienced at this time.

Council ask the Almighty ALLAH to Reward them abundantly, Ameen.

Council enjoin all Muslims to consolidate and sustain all the gains from the Divinely Ordained spiritual scheme of life in the years ahead for the benefits of humanity in general and individuals in particular.

Council reminds the Ummah of the payment /giving out of Zakatul-Fitr which crowns the all encompassing exercise for the uplifting of the social status of the needy, poor and destitute in actively partaking in the feast and merriment which marks the end of the month-long exercise.

Council calls on the entire Muslim Ummah to individually and collectively continue to intensify their prayers for the sustainability of peace, harmony, peaceful coexistence as well as surmounting all the challenges facing the nation.
These include economic crunch, insecurity, political upheavals, social depression etc.

Council thanks His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State for his commitment to ensuring the peaceful atmosphere the people enjoy in the state, as well as harmonious and peaceful coexistence among the people in the state.

Council praises and thanked the Governor for his relentless and consistent full support for religious Organizations in the State.

Council admonishes all Muslims to celebrate the Eid well within the Islamic prescriptions to enable them enjoy the ever enthusiastic merriment and benefits as part of spiritual enhancement.

Alhamdulillah, as officially announced, In Shaa ALLAH tomorrow is Eid Fitr which marks the end of Ramadan Fast and beginning of the month of Shawwal which is the tenth month in the Islamic lunar year.

Council wishes all Muslims happy and memorable Eid celebrations in the state and beyond.
