The Lokoja Local Government Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party says if winning election is determined by results from the polling units, expressed optimistism that it would win majority votes in the forthcoming December 12, Council Election.
The Lokoja Local Government Chairman of the PDP, Alhaji Idris Lokoja in a chat with THENIGERIANPOST said the party believes in the electorates, assured that all things being equal, the PDP would win the Council Election convincingly.
The Party Chairman hinged his argument and optimism on the present situation and hardship currently faced by the people of the area, said it is obvious, without mincing words, that the PDP era was better than the present APC era, would inform the choice of the electorates.
He described the deplorable condition of infrastructure, the standard of living of the people, high level insecurity, said ” our era in Government was better,” expressed optimism of a clear win in the polls.
He urged the people to make comparison of there living condition vis a vis what they are passing through now in making choices at the forthcoming Local Government Election, insisting that ” our time was better,” assured that a vote for the party in the Council Election would return the good old days.
He disclosed that the PDP in Lokoja Local Government is following up with the trend and going by the rules for the conduct of the forthcoming Local Government Election, says the PDP would win all Council and Chairmanship seats in the area if the winner would be decided at the polling units.
