Christmas: Kabba Bunu Council Chairman Admonishes Christians On Unity, Peaceful Coexistence
Barr. Zacchaeus Dare Michael, Executive Chairman, Kabba Bunu LGA, has felicitated with Christian faithful in the Local Government Area and all Nigerians as they celebrate the 2024 Christmas.
Barr. Dare in a statement he personally signed, said the Christian community in Kabba Bunu LGA have been a formidable force around his political aspirations, further assured them of his continued commitment of love and partnership.
“I urge all Christians to use the festive occasion to pray for unity, peace, and prosperity of our state and the country at large.”
He called on all Kogites to rededicate themselves to the service of humanity in line with the true teachings of Jesus Christ which emphasizes tolerance, patience, brotherly kindness, care for the needy and love for one another, among other virtues.
Barr. Dare however, urged Kogites, irrespective of their political and religious inclination, to learn how to tolerate each other and live together as one indivisible entity.
He urged them to pray for improvement in the social, political, and economic condition of the state, described the administration of Gov Usman Ahmed Ododo as divine, said it has in just a few months, justified that he is a gift to the people of the State.
“This is a time for us to be our brother’s keeper, extend our generosity to one another, and ensure that the less privileged among us are not left out of the ensuing merriment,” he stated.
“I wish all Nigerians, particularly the Kabba Bunu Christian Community a merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.”
He prayed for journey mercies for as many Nigerians that would have to travel during the period.
