The Kogi State Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Asiwaju Asiru Idris has sent a message of
Congratulations to Prof Olayemi Akinwunmi on the auspicious occasion of his birthday.
The Commissioner in a statement, wished the Vice Chancellor FUL more grace for fruitful and purposeful living in
Christ for service to humanity.
The Commissioner described the birthday of Prof. Akinwunmi as Celebrating the life of an Erudite Scholar, Academic and Transformer, praised him for the turnaround the FUL has witnessed under his leadership.
Asiwaju Idris says he feels proud associating with the Vice Chancellor, expressed happiness that under his Leadership, the Federal University, Lokoja has become a world Class institution.
He Particularly commended him in the attainment of hundred percent accreditation of courses in the FUL, the introduction of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences as well as other newly introduced Courses, praised him for making the University ranks top amongst Nigerian University’s within the shortest possible time.
Asiwaju Idris described the Vice Chancellor as a collosus who towers above his peers in principle, character and academic excellence, wished him good health and prosperity in the coming years.
He prayed for him to continue to enjoy many years of prosperity, intelligence, and good health, pointing out that his amazing achievements particularly in changing the narratives of FUL, calls for clinking of glasses and popping of champagne to celebrate a life of service.
