ATWAP CHAIRMAN TASKS FCT RESIDENTS ON HYGIENE AS CHOLERA OUTBREAK SCARE IN THE COUNTRY.

The Chairman, Association of Table Water Producers,(ATWAP) Abuja Chapter, Hon. Muhammed Okpanachi Akwuh has Called on Residents of the federal Capital Territory, (fct)Abuja, to ensure a highly Hygienic environment to avert Occurrence of Cholera Outbreak Which has already Claimed lives in other parts of the country.
Hon. Opkanachi said, the Association deemed it necessary to inform residents of the federal Capital Territory, after the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control,(NCDC) declared a Public Health emergency on the Outbreak of Cholera in Some States of Nigeria.
The Chairman further urged residents to remain Vigilant and take Precautionary measures towards ensuring their Safety.He admonished them to wash their hands regularly, obtain their drinking Waters from a NAFDAC approved and Licensed Producer With good Manufacturing practice.
He also implored residents to always keep their drinking Waters and foods Closed in an Hygienic environment to avoid being Contaminated by harmful Particles.
He said though, water and food are Very important to our Survival as Humans, but we must ensure that they are healthy and safe for Consumption, even as he pledged the Association’s adherence to best Manufacturing Practice.
