APC Deputy National Publicity Secretary Lauds Senator Karimi for Transformative Initiatives in Kogi West

The Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon Durosinmi Meseko , has commended Senator Sunday Karimi for his impactful initiatives aimed at improving the lives of constituents in Kogi West Senatorial District.

Senator Karimi’s commitment to development has been evident through various projects and programs, including:

Provision of Solar Powered Street lights: The Senator has spearheaded the installation of solar panels across Kogi West, bringing much-needed electricity to communities previously reliant on unreliable power sources.

Construction of Military Barrack in Egbe: This initiative strengthens security in the region, providing a strategic base for the Nigerian military to combat insecurity.

₦200 Million Grant to Women: Senator Karimi has allocated a significant sum to empower women in Kogi West, enabling them to start businesses and improve their economic well-being.

₦100 Million Scholarship for 1000 Students:
This scholarship program provides financial assistance to deserving students, ensuring access to quality education.

Water and Electricity Projects:
The Senator has also prioritized infrastructure development, investing in water and electricity projects to enhance the quality of life for residents.

Hon. Meseko also commended Senator Karimi for his efforts in facilitating employment opportunities for numerous individuals across various sectors, including Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), as well as the military and paramilitary services. This has led to the successful placement of qualified candidates in critical roles,
