2023 Presidency: Governor Yahaya Bello Represents the Younger Generation – Gombe Speaker


 

Ahead of the 2023 political dispensation in Nigeria, there might be a paradigm shift in line with the ongoing agitation of the youths in the country to have more young people in positions of leadership to reposition the nation and to compete favourably among other comity of nations globally in the 21st century of the digital world.

This was reaffirmed by the Speaker of the Gombe State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abubakar Muhammad during a consultation visit of the Kogi State House of Assembly delegation led by Rt. Hon. Prince Matthew Kolawole to galvanize support for Governor Yahaya Bello’s ambition to be the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Rt. Hon. Abubakar Muhammad commended the Kogi State House of Assembly for embarking on such a tasking job of moving round the country to sell the personality of a young vibrant individual who have carved a niche for himself as a great leader to stear the ship of the country in the nearest future, stressing that Governor Yahaya Bello represents the younger generation many Nigerians are agitating for.

He noted with nostalgia the efforts of the Governor in the area of security, human capital development, youths and women inclusion in governance, education, health, Infrastructures and above all, promoting religion and tribal harmony as elucidated by the leader of the delegation, Rt. Hon. Prince Matthew Kolawole, pointed out that the people of Gombe are actually following events in Kogi State through the media.

He appreciated them for according Gombe Assembly the relevance of visiting them, stressing that most of the members in the assembly fall within the range of the younger generation who will be glad to see one of their generation takes the leadership position in the country, promised to discuss their request when they resume plenary session in a few weeks time and get back with their resolutions.

It will be recalled that Gombe State Assembly will be the third State so far visited by the Kogi State House of Assembly delegation in line with their resolutions to tour the 36 states of the federation to galvanize support for Governor Yahaya Bello’s quest to be the next president of Nigeria.

Other members in the delegation include, the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon Ahmed Muhammad, Chief Whip, Hon. Murtar Bajeh, Hon. Ademola Bello, Mopamuro, Hon. Musa Hallirion Collins, Omala and Hon. Dahiru Muhammad, Okene II
