The Kogi West Elders Forum have been asked not to overheat the system ahead of 2023 Governorship, with zoning described as a concept that has not helped the country.
The Convener for Congress for Better Nigeria, Barr. Zacchaeus Dare Michael, made this known in a statement, disclosed that power is not given, rather it is earned, cautioned against overheating the polity.
Barr. Dare, an APC Chieftain and Activists lawyer, urged Kogi West Elders Forum not to put the cart before the horse, called on those interested in contesting in 2023 to throw in their hat into the ring rather than overheating the system.
He described Gov. Yahaya Bello as a politician who got to where he is today not by zoning, but by throwing his hat into the ring, dint of hard work before he was divinely elevated, called them to do same and not fan the embers of discord.
Barr. Dare warned against playing on the sensibilities of the people by using zoning as a sentiment, called on the Elders to be sincere and to consult widely with the people, particularly the Youths, as the time is Youth o’clock.
The APC Chieftain and Activists lawyer described the Administration of Gov. Yahaya Bello as one who’s signature is widely and boldly seen across the state in all facet of life.
He praised Gov. Yahaya Bello’s efforts in Women and Youth Empowerment, said the Administration has surpassed the thought of many in human capital development.
