Following the decision of the Ruling Political party in Nigeria, All Progressive Congress APC, to commence Registration and revalidation exercise of party members on the 25th of January 2021 nationwide, Chairman of the Kogi State Chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Comrade Femi Israel Alonge has enjoined youths in the state and country to come out em mass and Participate actively in the exercise.
According to the chairman, having Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State to chair the party’s Women, Youth and Physically Challenged Mobilization and Sensitization Committee on the forthcoming membership registration exercise is a perfect fit for the task because according to him, the governor understands fully well and knows every onions within this terrain.
Youths are by this opportunity, enjoined to ensure they come out in their large voting strength numbers to register under this platform which will obviously serve as a conduit for them to pass through in determining within and outside the party line who leads them in the country.
“This is the best opportunity for youths to stop the social media Advocacy for good governance and not too young to run movement and activate full actions by getting themselves registered under a Political party as a platform to speak in an audible voice and further champion the course of determining who leads Political in this country.”
Alonge Lamented that Youths can no longer continue to shout without grabbing the opportunity of taking full actions in deciding for themselves. This is the best time to rise up and take responsibility and also be responsible for our actions and inactions.
The Youth leader pointed out that the chairman of the Mobilization and Sensitization Committee of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Governor Yahaya Bello is a Youthful governor who has over time shown his special love, commitments and interests in the Nigerian women and youths not excluding giving special Privileges to the physically challenged in the State.
He emphasized on his high conviction that governor Yahaya Bello will surely Cooperate with the Youths in ensuring no one is left behind during the course of this exercise and this is why the need to beckon on the Nigerian Youths to grab this golden opportunity becomes sacrosanct.
He noted that as far as Political decision making via election is concerned in this country, the youths are major stakeholders and this is as a result of the electioneering intimidating population and we must rise to take absolute advantage of this opportunity of ours to favour us in the nearest of time. Therefore seizing this avenue in doing the needful can be the only sure lead for us to conquer and remain Political significant and not be addressed as social media ranters.
The door for Youths to be part of a system has been made open by Mr President through the Chairman and others managers of the All Progressive Congress therefore leaving the keys to our future in our hands.
