As the second term of Executive Governor of Kogi State, H.E. Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello clocks a year today, the Executive Chairman of Omala Local Government, Hon. (Alh) Ibrahim Yakubu Aboh has expressed high hope and optimism that the Governor and his team has shown the zeal to do more for the people of Kogi State.
Alhaji Aboh gave the assertion in his felicitation message to the Governor on his first year in office anniversary, made available to the public through his Chief Press Secretary, Comrade Suleiman Alih.
He said, “all indicators have shown and pointed to the zeal and vibe that the Governor is toeing the right direction in delivering good governance to the people of Kogi State”.
“The strength of a government lies in her people. The synergy the government of Alhaji Yahaya Bello has created is paying off, as reflective in the relative peace witnessed across the state, which is giving the government the impetus to seamlessly deliver on her mandate”.
“I assure you that the Governor knows our pains and will do the needful. I call on the good people of Omala Local Government to support this government to enable it complete the reconstruction of Ankpa-Abejukolo road it already started, the Light Up Kogi East (LUKE) project, which Omala communities are big time beneficiaries. These projects, among others when completed will improve the economic well being of the people of the area”, Alhaji Aboh affirmed.
While declaring his loyalty and support and that of the people of Omala Local Government to the Governor, Alhaji Aboh congratulate the Governor, H.E, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, his deputy, H.E, Chief Edward David Onoja (CIK), Chief of Staff to the Governor, Chief Jamiu Abdulkareem Asuku, the entire cabinet members and all those who have contributed to make this government work.
The Executive Chairman prayed GOD to grant the Executive Governor and his team sound health, long life, wisdom, understanding and wherewithal to carry on with the task of taking Kogi State to it’s enviable heights.
