The Paramount ruler of JIDA BASSA Community in Ajaokuta local government Area of Kogi state,his Royal Highness ,Chief Samson Monday has joined other prominent dignitaries across the state to felicitate with Governor Yahaya Bello , his New Direction Team ,the chairman of Ajaokuta local government council Mustapha Akaaba,his Royal Highness Ohi of Eggayi and Chairman Ajaokuta Council of Chiefs,Chief Isah Musa Achuja and the entire Jida Bassa Community on the occasion of this year”s Yuletide Festival.
Speaking with Newsmen at his palace ,Jida Bassa Community,Chief Samson described Governor Bello has a rare political leader who has demonstrated genuine passion to secure lives and properties of citizens and equally providing social amenities equitably to the three Senatorial districts of the state.
The Aguma Jida Bassa however used the avenue to appealed to the Local and state governments to grade the stool of his fore-fathers as done to others traditional councils stating that over the last twenty years successful administrations failed to consider to attend to their demand despite several official laters that were written.
Chief Samson Monday also appealed to governments to help to establish a second school in his domain to reduce the anguish his subjects go through to acquire education as risk traveling to other communities adding that lives of his people is at serious risk as they trek on the ever busy federal highways road in search of knowledge.
He equally called on governments to facilitate the provision of portable drinking water to Jida Community as his subjects are subjected to move far from their abode in search of water and to avert snake bite and other epidemics.
Chief Samson Monday further appealed to the communications giants/ holders to establish their Networks services to enable the citizens access the World through their services
The Traditional ruler also demanded from governments the establishment of a permanent primary health care center in the area as staff deployed to work in the area find it difficult to operates due to office accommodation challenge.
Chief Samson Monday assured the Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello,the local government council boss, Mustapha Akaaba,and the Chairman Ajaokuta Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Isah Musa Achuja of his subjects resolved to sustain the momentum of peaceful co-existence to Foster accelerated growth and development of area
