Your Appeal Court Victory is An Act of God, Chief Ayo Olubunmi Christopher,
Ex. Chairman, Kogi State Christian Pilgrims Commission.
The Executive Chairman of the Kogi State Christian Pilgrims Commission, Lokoja, Chief Ayo Olubunmi Christopher has congratulated his Excellency, Alh. Usman Ahmed Ododo on the Appeal Court victory affirming his election as Governor of Kogi State.
The Commission Chairman described the present Appeal Court victory in Kogi State as an act of God and a good omen for the citizens of the State.
A statement by the Commission’s Secretary, Dcn Simeon Onakpa, Ph.D in Lokoja Friday, made available to the press, said the victory would spur the Governor to do more in developmental agenda for the State.
According to him the Appeal Court victory is not just for Governor Ododo alone but for Kogians in the diaspora, emphasizing the need for all to rally support for Governor Ododo in Kogi State.
The statement further quoted the Chairman of the commission “saying that God is speaking to all Kogians that no matter the differences in political affiliation, stressed the need to focus on Kogi agenda rather than embracing embers of discord that does no one any good.
The statement also felicitated with the Deputy Governor, Elder Joel Oyibo Salifu, the Speaker Kogi State House of Assembly, the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Mrs Folashade Ayoade, the Chief of Staff Ali Bello, the Head of Service, Pastor Elijah Evinemi, the DG Government House, Alh Aliu Oricha and other critical stake holders in the present administration.
