The Executive Chairman of Yagba West Local Government, Hon. Pius Kolawole has congratulated the Nigerian workers on the occasion of this year Workers Day celebration, urged them to sustain the struggle for a better Nigeria.
The Chairman in a statement made available to newsmen commended Nigerian workers for their doggedness and contributions to the enthronement of an equitable and just society.
The Council Boss in recognition of the massive contributions of Nigerian workers to the Nation building praised the workers for their diligence and sacrifice, towards building a productive economy and a prosperous Nation.
“Let us remember today, that on no account should we allow the labour of our heroes past be in vain, notwithstanding the challenges our country is confronted with, the Nigerian workers is full of hope, a renewed hope in the Nigeria project.”
He appealed to Nigeria workers not to despair in the face of the economic downturn the country is currently experiencing but to show resilience, sustain and re-ignite the undying spirit in the workers unions as the country move towards a period of recovery and stability under the incoming Bola Tinubu led administration
