We Are Committed To Eradicating Extreme Poverty And Illiteracy- Amb. Dr. Sameera.

The President and founder of the Better Life for Children and Women Future Foundation, Amb.Dr. Sameera Abubakar Abdullahi has reiterated the foundation’s Unwavering Commitments and determination towards Eradicating Extreme Poverty And Illiteracy in the Country through the provision of empowerment and Skill acquisition programs, Capacity Building and development to Nigerian Women and Youths.

 

According to Amb. Sameera, the Foundation focuses on the Vulnerable Children, Women and Youths in the Six Geopolitical Zones of the Country including the federal Capital Territory,(fct) Abuja, to see how extreme Poverty, joblessness and Illiteracy Could be reduced through Capacity Building, Skills acquisition and empowerment, Building of young entrepreneurs, Catering for people with Special needs and Supporting the educational needs of the indigent Children.

She further added that, the Foundation has tagetted 10,000 Women in each of the 36 States of the Federation including the federal Capital Territory, Abuja, pointing out that the Foundation had already started in Kano State and has trained about 8,500 Persons in Bio-gas, Solar lights Installation and maintenance, Information Communication Technology, (ICT)Charcoal making from Agriculturaral waste, Cathering Services, Tailoring and other Lucrative Source of livelihood.

She said on Children, their focus is on Education, Understanding the importance of education in the development and transformation of any Society,the Foundation Cater for the educational needs of Vulnerable Children,like Orphans and others whose parents Could not affords the educational needs of their Children, we also Pay regular Visits to Orphanages and Support their Nutritional needs, she added.

 

Reacting to questions from Journalists on how She’s been able to Sustain and funds the Foundation Since almost a decade of it establishment, the President/Founder said, funding has actually been one of the profound Challenges faced by the Foundation , Since it’s not a Profits making Organization, But that as Business oriented individual who is in to Agro Business, She used the Proceeds from her Business to fund the Foundation to ensure it Sustainability.
