His Royal Highness, Ajofe Matthew Daikwo Onu- Igbologwu of Emewe and a former Director, kogi state Ministry of local government and chieftaincy affairs, has felicitated with the Ogohi-Onu Anyigba, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Abuh Shaibu Okolo over the commissioning of the new Anyigba central mosque by the the Sultan of Sokoto and President Supreme Council for Islamic affairs His Eminence, Abubakar Saa’d 111, on Saturday 10th April, 2021.
The former Director also extends his felicitation to the entire Muslim community in Anyigba and the entire Dekina local government area of kogi state, adding that the presence of such magnificent edifice coupled with the presence of the Sultan would definitely signal a new dawn in the lives of the Muslims in the area.
He further expressed profound appreciation to the donor Alhaji Ibrahim Idris the former Executive Governor of kogi state for his uncanny magnanimity and his unprecedented investment in the religious lives of the people of the area and humanity at large,saying that such selflessness and benevolence is rare in our present generation.
He prayed God Almighty to bless and preserve the live of the donor as he also urged other privileged once in our society to emulate the donor for the advancement of our various religious faith,as it is only through strict adherence to our religious teaching that we could enthrone a peaceful and orderly society he stressed.
