Senator Natasha mourns PDP chieftain, Siyaka Yakubu

 

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has expressed her deep sadness over the passing of Alhaji Siyaka Yakubu, a renowned chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi.

Alhaji Yakubu, who was one of the founding members of the PDP in Okehi Local Government Area, dedicated his life to the party, serving faithfully from 1999 until his demise.

At 97 years old, Alhaji Yakubu’s passing is a significant loss to the PDP in both Kogi Central and the entire state.

Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan described his death as a tremendous loss, highlighting his invaluable experience and dedication that will be greatly missed.

The senator prayed for God to grant eternal rest to the deceased and extended her sympathies to his immediate family and PDP members in Kogi.

She urged them to find solace in his exemplary life and legacy.

“Alhaji Yakubu’s commitment to the PDP is a testament to his unwavering dedication to the party’s ideals.

“His legacy will undoubtedly continue to inspire and motivate party members to strive for excellence.

“As the PDP and the people of Kogi mourn the loss of this remarkable individual, we also celebrate his life and the impact he had on those around him. May his memory continue to inspire and motivate others to follow in his footsteps.”
