The senator representing Benue South Senatorial District and Senate Minority Leader, Comrade Abba Moro, PhD, has been bestowed with on Monday, honoured in far away Akwa Ibom State with an Award of Excellence.
According to a statement by Moro’s media adviser, Emmanuel Eche’Ofun John, the award, which was presented to the senator by Glimpse Charity Foundation, in collaboration with Akwaibom State Government, was in recognition of his quality representation in the Senate and contributions to societal growth.
The senator, while receiving the award said he was greatly honoured to be recognized outside his senatorial district and promised to do more for humanity.
Moro had earlier chaired an empowerment programme organized by the President of the Senate, H.E., Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio GCON, where empowerment materials were distributed to the people of Akwa Ibom bom North-West Senatorial District.
The Senate Minority Leader was accompanied by the Minority Leader, Benue State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mike Audu; Member representing Okpokwu State Constituency, Rt. Hon. Anthony Agom; Federal Commissioner for Benue State, Public Complaints Commission, Chief James Ogaba Oche; Immediate past GM, BNSESA, Hon. Solomon Onah, and Hon. Austin Ochiga.
