

The Senator Representing Kogi West in the National Assembly, Sen. Sunday Karimi says he is deeply saddened by the passing of His Royal Majesty, Alhaji (Dr) Ado Ibrahim CON, the paramount ruler of Egbiraland who passed away in the early hours of Sunday, 29th October, 2023 at 94 years.
“His Royal Majesty was a wise and revered traditional ruler who dedicated his life to serving his people. He left his mark in Nigeria as a renowned captain of industry, philanthropist and bridge-builder par excellence. He was a champion of peace and unity, and he worked tirelessly to promote development and progress not just in Egbiraland and Kogi State, but Nigeria as a whole”.
“Personally, he was much more than a revered Royal father to me. He was a trusted confidante and wise counsellor whose wisdom proved invaluable time and again in public service and politics. This makes his passing even more painful coming at this time”.
“We take solace however in the knowledge that we are from God and to Him is our Return”.
“On behalf of my family, friends and political associates, I extend my sincere condolences to the Government and people of Kogi State, people of Egbiraland, Nigerians and the family of His Royal Majesty”.
