Kogi State Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris, has sent a message of felicitations to Hon Abdussamad Dansuki on his conferment as the SANTURAKI SOKOTO by the Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence, Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’adu Abubakar CFR III.

with the prestigious title of SANTURAKI SOKOTO.
The Commissioner in a statement said without any reservations, the title of the SANTURAKI SOKOTO, meaning a close confidant loved by the Sultanate Council, aptly fits the
Alhaji Abdussamad Dansuki.
The Commissioner notes that the title underscores his personality, said the decision of the Sultanate Council to honour him as truly a close confidant that can always be confided upon was not misplaced.
The Commissioner says the honour did not come as a surprise, pointing out that Alhaji Abdussamad Dansuki’s lifestyle encapsulates all the attributes of a confidant that can be trusted and loved.
The statement urged him to use his recognition for the benefit of the Sultanate Council and mankind in general, with the Commissioner assuring that he would justify the confidence reposed on him.
The Commissioner concluded that he is proud of the accomplishments and sterling leadership qualities of the Santuraki Sokoto, attributes he noted has marked him out for recognition by the Sultanate Council.
