Sallah Celebration: IBD Dende Foundation Splashes Thousands of Ileya Outreach Packages and Festive Programs.

In a remarkable show of generosity and community spirit, the IBD Dende Foundation has distributed thousands of Sallah celebration outreach packages to Muslims across Yewa Township and its environs. The initiative, aimed at making this year’s Eid al-Adha (Ileya) celebrations memorable, reflects the foundation’s commitment to spreading love and exemplifying the sacrificial ordinances of Prophet Mohammed (SAW).

The Coordinator and Director General of the IBD Dende Foundation, Mrs. Judith Omolara Egungbohun, addressed newsmen, highlighting the foundation’s efforts to ease the celebrations for the masses. “Sallah celebrations are about spreading love and demonstrating the sacrificial ordinances of Prophet Mohammed (SAW). We have distributed thousands of foodstuffs and other welfare packages to help the masses enjoy their Sallah celebrations,” Mrs. Egungbohun stated.

In addition to the welfare packages, the foundation is hosting an elaborate event tagged “Ileya 2024”. This festive program features a variety of activities designed to bring joy and promote unity among the community. Attendees can look forward to games, competitions, talent exhibitions, dances, and numerous attractions aimed at cheering the season for all.

“The Ileya Fiesta event is our way of cheering the masses and promoting unity and togetherness,” said Mrs. Egungbohun. “We hope to do even more next year by the grace of Allah. Wishing all Muslims across the world happy Sallah celebrations.”

The IBD Dende Foundation’s initiatives have been warmly received, with many praising the foundation for its dedication to supporting the community and enhancing the festive spirit of Eid al-Adha. This year’s celebrations promise to be a vibrant and inclusive affair, reflecting the core values of compassion and sacrifice that underpin the festival.

As the festive programs unfold, the IBD Dende Foundation continues to demonstrate its unwavering commitment to fostering a sense of community and solidarity among Muslims in Yewa Township and beyond.
