The executive chairman of Ikwere local government area of Rivers state who is also the People Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the April 17th,2021 Rivers state local government election. honourable Samuel Nwanosike (JP) has lauded the massive turn out of voters for the election.
He further stressed that the Rivers state independent electoral commission has performed creditably beyond expectation , adding that electoral materials were delivered promptly at the various polling units before the arrival of voters and also, security agents were seen in all the polling units as expected.
On the performance of the state governor, Rt Hon Nyesom Wike, the executive governor of Rivers state,the chairman disclosed that the governor has performed beyond the superlatively in the the state and called on the Riverians to remain supportive of the governor to enable him do more in terms of infrastructural development and other aspects crying for government attention.
Honourable Nwanosike further pledged his irrevocable commitment towards providing dividends of democracy to the good people of Ikwere local government area.
He called on Nigerians to participate actively in the electioneering process to ensure that their choice of candidates emerge in elections.saying, “we create problem and cry.if we keep quite other people Will manipulate the process at the end of the day “.
He further called on Nigerians to be united against bad leadership and other vices that are antithetical to the peace and progress of the nation.
