Executive Chairman Bassa Local Government Alhaji Mutari Shaibu flagging off destribution of Rice pallative provided by Kogi State Government to people of the area at Oguma.
The Chairman of the council Alhaji Mutari Shaibu Stated this while flaging off destribution of Rice palliative at Oguma and Gboloko Bassa Local Government Area.

While addressing party members.Alhaji Mutari said the state government provided more of the Palliative to further reduce effect of subsidy removal by the federal government.
The Executive Chairman charged stake holders of All Progressive Congress APC to equitable distribute the Rice to citizens of the area.
According to him short, medium pledge of the state government which is appointment and upgrading of traditional rulers is ongoing and expressed on Governor Yahaya Bello’s administration to complete Oguma Sheria bridge as long term pledge to people of the Area in record time.
Alhaji Mutari Shaibu Commended stake holders of the party for peaceful destribution of the first Rice palliatives and encourage them to share as described by Governor Yahaya Bello.
He warn that any ward, units leader that fails in the destribution will have him self to blame adding that monitoring team will go round to checkmate the exercise in the ten ward of the local government.
The Chairman described Alhaji Usman Ododo as personality with a difference and therefore called on the people to turn out massively to vote for his victory next month.
The council Chairman Bassa said the All Progressive Congress APC Governorship candidate Alhaji Usman Ododo will win the area.
Earlier the Divisional party Chairman of All Progressive Congress Mallam Muhammed Umar Commended Governor Yahaya Bello for restoring peace in the Area stressing that the Unity of purpose among the people will transform the area.
According to him Bassa Local Government Area is a home of the All Progressive Congress APC and called on members of the party to shun disunity and antiparty activities before, during and after election.
Alhaji Umar stated that more pallative will be provided by the state government when the current one is shared fairly to the grass roots.
In his own remarks a former Commissioner of budget and planning Mr Paul Maiwaida and A chieftain of the party Mr Bako Shigaba,A senior special assistance Mallam Aliu Yunusa Commended Governor Yahaya Bello for the Rice Palliative provided and pledge proper destribution of the commodity to the people.
Also speaking the All Progressive Congress APC divisional Chairman Mallam Muhammed Umar said the party remain a political platform to beat and called on the people of the area to remain focus.
He charges stake holders of the party to equitably share the Palliative rice to various units of the wards in the area.
In good will message a community youth leader in Gboloko Mallam Salim Sanusi said the Youths in the area have made themselves to vote Alhaji Usman Ododo as next Governor of the state and thank the council Chairman for thoroughly implementing Government directive to the people of the area.
