The Provost College of Nursing, Obangede, Mrs Hannah Abraham
has listed the efforts of Gov Yahaya Bello in the College as unprecedented.
The Provost in a statement issued to Newsmen, listed some of the achievements of Gov Bello in the college since the first tenure of his administration to total renovation of the college existing structures.
Mrs Hannah added that no administration has matched the Governor’s transformation achievements in the College, added that it was Gov. Bello who did the Perimeter fencing of the College.
She added that the Construction of an ultramodern hostel structure that accommodates 180 students (still on going) is the handiwork of the present administration.
Other achievements she noted includes the construction of a new gate towards the specialist hospital Obangede, as well as the Construction of Staff offices.
The Provost praised Gov. Bello’s effort in giving the College a Leyland bus that is now used to convey students for clinical experience.
Similarly, the Provost disclosed that under the present administration, the College was accredited while intake of students increased by 150%
Mrs Hannah added that the Landscaping of the two quadrangles in the college, Construction of a new admin block (ongoing) are visible achievements of Gov Bello, described him as the most friendly Governor, College of Nursing Obangede has ever had since its establishment.
The Provost disclosed that the institution under Gov Bello has been reposition to be a leading College of Nursing in the country, assurred that the present Leadership of the institution, is resolute in ensuring that the dreams and vision of the Governor is achieved.
