Prof. Stephen Ocheni Mourns Former AGF, Abdullahi Ibrahim … Says he was a shining light at all levels


 

The immediate past Minister of State Labour and Employment, Professor Stephen Ocheni commensurates with the Government, family and people of Kogi State on the passing away of an illustrious son of the state, Alhaji Abdullahi Ibrahim, the first Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN ) from Northern Nigeria.

Professor Ocheni in a condolence message made available to Newsmen today said the legal profession has lost one of its best ,describing the deceased as a shinning light in the profession both at the national and international levels.

Professor Ocheni also said the deceased was a true stateman, who made invaluable contributions to the advancement of the country.

The former Minister maintained that the incorruptable nature, philatropic mind and his pursuit for a decent and orderly society endeared the legal luminary to all and sundry.

Professor Ocheni who said the demise of Alhaji Abdullahi Ibrahim was colossal and great setback to the country and his home state in particular, called on the people not to grief, but emulate the enduring legacies of the late Elder Stateman, whose entire life was dedicated to serving his father’s land with utmost diligence and sincerity.

He urged the immediate family and the people of the state to take solace in the fact that the elder stateman lived an accomplished life that is worthy of emulation.

The former Minister prayed almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and family the strength to bear the great loss.
