The Principal of Ministry of Women Affairs Model Nursery and Primary School, Gadumo, Lokoja, through the Headteacher of Zumrah Academy Nursery and Primary School, Lokoja, Mrs M. Ahmed, has commended Tazan Foundation for its exploits in the educational sector.
Recalled that Tazan Foundation had recently donated educational materials to schools and carried out several humanitarian activities in its bid to impact the lives of the needy in Kogi Central.
In an exclusive interview with our reporter after receiving educational materials from Tazan Foundation, Ahmed thanked the foundation for the kind gesture, saying the foundation remained the hope of the hopeless.
According to her, the pupils of the school have in recent times struggle with written materials and text books to aid learning, hence, the educational materials coming at the right time.
She noted that so many children as of today were roaming round the streets without hope of passing through the four wall of the classroom, while some were opportuned to be in school but without necessary materials to equip learning.
She further added that posterity would forever remember the foundation and his team for contributing to the growth of the future leaders of tomorrow.
In his response the founder of the foundation, Mr. Saahibfatiu Onimisi Tazan, thanked God for the grace to carryout human impact project to his immediate society.
According to him, the rate of downfall in the quality of education and ratio drop out from schools due to funds and educational materials is becoming alarming, hence a need for intervention.
He added that his foundation would stop at nothing in contributing its quota towards reviving quality education which he was a product of.
Tazan urged the staff and management of the school not to be deterred by the happenings in the country as stressing that their good works will be rewarded on Earth and after life.
He stressed further stressed that the gesture was a way of complimenting His Excellency, Yahaya Bello’s efforts in the education sector in the state.
