The Principal of Community Secondary School, Ugboro, Bekwarra Local Government Area Mrs. Angela Mgbe recently commended the Member Representing Bekwarra/Obudu/Obanliku Federal Constituency of Cross River State in the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Legor Idagbo for the new NCDMB Information and Community Technology ICT Centre donated to the school.
The Principal of the Secondary School promised that the NCDMB ICT Center will be put to good use to achieve the purpose for which it was established for even as elders of the community also expressed their appreciation to the lawmaker for the project.
The project which is by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board NCDMB and facilitated by Rt. Hon. Legor Idagbo who is the Chairman Committee on Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring is to provide the school and the community with state of the art ICT facilities.
Rt. Hon. Legor Idagbo charged the Principal of the school to take ownership of the ICT center and ensure it is put to good use adding that a Center like that can be used as Computer Based Test CBT Center and can generate revenue that will enable it operate sustainably. The Center has a 30kva generator along with solar power system and many other required equipment including printer, scanners, photocopier etc.
