Police Nab Suspected Motorcycle Theft In Abakaliki

The men of Nigeria Police force Ebonyi State Command, Wednesday arrested thirty years old man who gave his name as Chinagorom Joseph Nwoba, a native of Echara Community in Ikwo LGA over an alleged mate 90 motorcycle theft belonging to Ikechukwu Nwenyim at Zenith Bank, Vanco junction In Abakaliki.

The suspect allegedly stormed at the entrance of the bank were the said motorcycle was locked and packed by the owner and went inside the bank to make transaction.

It was gathered that after few minutes later the owner came back and saw that the man and his colleague have already used another key and open the pad lock used to lock the bike and were about taken the motorcycle away.

According to the report, the owner shouted which drew the attention of the bank security men and customers leading to the arrest of one of the suspects while the other suspect flee away.

It was observed that suddenly the team of policemen entered and pick him to the police headquaters Abakaliki where he is currently cooling his feet.

It was also learnt that brother of the owner Chizoba Uguru had on 17th June, 2023 lost his brand new motorcycle at United bank of Africa UBA along Ogoja Road Abakaliki.

Our Correspondent reports that they have been cases of motorcycle lost within Abakaliki metropolis especially in the banks.
