The Area Commander for Ankpa/Omala/Olamaboro Federal Constituency, ACP Suleiman Ishola has commended the Executive Chairman of Omala Local Government, Hon. (Alh) Ibrahim Yakubu Aboh for prioritizing peace and security of the area.
ACP Suleiman gave the nod when he visited the Chairman in his office at Abejukolo, as the former embarks on familiarization tour.
He said, “your commitment to security of lives and properties shows your sincere love for your people. The ongoing perimeter fencing and renovation of Omala Divisional Police Headquarters in Abejukolo, Agbenema Police Station almost completed and the proposed Bagana Police Station are eminent fact pointing to your good work. The police will give you all the necessary support and cooperation you deserve to enable you succeed in this guise”.
Responding, the Executive Chairman thanked the ACP for the visit while reiterating his commitment to security of lives and properties.
Alhaji Aboh avowed that, “my adminstration will not relent in delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of the area”.
“Our attention to security is hinged on the Security gains of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello whom we are emulating. We thank GOD for the cooperation we have received from the good people of Omala Local Government and all the security outfits in the area. I further implore all stakeholders in the security system to keep on with their good thinking, prayers and operational tactics for a sustainable peace, because security is the business of all”.
The council boss led the DPO, SP John Ogbebor, the ACP and his entourage, head of DSS Omala, Vigilante Commander and others to the palace of Onuh Otutubatu in Bagana, Chief Alhaji Salifu Anyebe, after which they proceeded to the proposed site of the Bagana Police Station, the Agbenema Police station and the force headquarters in Abejukolo.
