Executive Chairman of Omala Local Government Council, Hon. Chief (Alh) Ibrahim Yakubu Aboh has called on all traditional rulers (beaded and nonbeaded Chiefs) to rise up to the occasion and ensure a peaceful and harmonious living.
Chief Aboh gave the charge during a meeting with all the Chiefs in Abejukolo, Omala Local Government Area yesterday.
He said, “this meeting has become necessary in order to keep ourselves abreast of every latest development in addressing salient issues. All traditional rulers are therefore charged to go back to their respective domain and ensure peaceful coexistence. All community heads, including the Gagos must work with their chiefs to achieve this”.
“Let us endeavour to be on our guard and avoid issues that will trigger crisis or breach peace and unity in our respective communities or localities”.
Responding, the Onu Abejukolo, HRH Chief Suleiman Abimaje extolled the virtues of the Executive Chairman in his quest to always keep in touch and his regular charge to his subjects. He promised that everybody will return to their respective communities and man their terrain.
The Onu Ife/Chairman, Omala Traditional Council, HRH, Chief Boniface U. Musa who was unavoidably absent was duly represented by the Traditional Council’s administrative Secretary, Mr. Ihiabe Abdulkareem.
In their separate remarks, the Chiefs declared their readiness to be up and doing and to give maximum support and cooperation to government of day.
