PDP Youth Leader Congratulates Alh Usman Ododo for his victory earlier today and Calls for Unity and Collaboration in Kogi State Following Court Ruling
We are delighted to announce and celebrate the significant victory of Alhaji Usman Ododo in court today. This ruling reaffirms the mandate given by the people of Kogi State and highlights the strength of our democratic processes.
This victory is not just a personal achievement for Ododo but a triumph for all citizens who stood firmly for justice and transparency.
We also wish to express our profound appreciation to the judiciary for their prompt action and timely delivery of justice. Their efficiency and commitment to upholding the rule of law have been exemplary. By not delaying the judgment, the judiciary has reinforced public confidence in our legal system and demonstrated its pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our democracy.
In light of the court ruling in favor of the All-Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Youth Leader issues a call for unity and collaborative governance to ensure the continued progress of Kogi State.
“While we respect the decision of the court, our focus must now shift to the development and prosperity of our beloved Kogi State,” stated the PDP Youth Leader. “This is a time for all political parties and their candidates to come together in the spirit of unity and work towards a common goal – the betterment of our state and its people.”
In this spirit of collaboration, the PDP Youth Leader extends a hand of partnership to key opposition candidates:
Murtala Ajaka of the Social Democratic Party (SDP)
Olayinka Braimoh of the Action Alliance (AA)
Abdullahi Bayawo of the People’s Redemption Party (PRP).
“We call upon these esteemed leaders to join hands with the governor in steering Kogi State towards a brighter future,” the Youth Leader emphasized. “Our differences in political ideologies should not overshadow our shared vision for a progressive and prosperous Kogi State.”
The PDP Youth Leader stressed the importance of putting the interests of Kogi State citizens first, urging all political actors to contribute their expertise and resources towards addressing the state’s challenges and capitalizing on its opportunities.
“Let us move forward with a spirit of inclusivity and shared purpose,” the Youth Leader concluded. “Together, we can build a Kogi State that serves as a model of collaborative governance and rapid development for the entire nation.”
