A chieftain of the peoples Democratic party (PDP),from the south west geopolitical zone, Senator Felix Kola Ogunwale has hailed the contestants and delegates that participated at the south west zonal Congress for their peaceful conduct which led to a hitch free Congress.
Senator Felix who was one of the delegates from Ogun state, attributed the maturity and peaceful conduct of the contestants and delegates to the desire and yearnings to liberate Nigeria and Nigerians from bad governance brought about by the ruling all progressives Congress (APC).
Senator Felix who represented Ogun west senatorial district at the red Chambers of the National assembly between 2007 and 2011, said the party in the region would consolidate on the success of the Congress to strengthen the party and place it on a wining pedestal ahead of the 2023 general elections.
He berated the ruling party for it inability to secure the lives of Nigerians, adding that wanton killing of armless citizens has become a reoccurring decimal, calling on Nigerians to reject the party in the next general elections.
He faulted the statements credited to the current minister of defense, when he called on Nigerians to defend themselves from bandits and other arm bearing kingpin, he condemned such statement and described it as reckless and clueless, he further alleged that, the APC led federal government wants to use the alarming but avoidable rate of insecurity in the country to perpetuate it self on power beyond 2023.
