PDP, KOGI STATE CHAPTER CONDEMN THE ILLEGAL RECALL OF SENATOR NATASHA AKPOTI UDUAGHAN.
The Kogi State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) strongly condemns the attempt to recall Senator Natasha Akpoti Oduaghan, representing Kogi Central Senatorial District.
This move is clearly politically motivated and malicious, aimed at silencing a vocal opposition voice.
We demand an immediate stop to this recall exercise and the lifting of Senator Akpoti Oduaghan’s suspension.
As a law-abiding party, we believe in the democratic process and the rights of elected officials to represent their constituents without fear of intimidation.
Senator Akpoti Oduaghan, a member of our party, was recently sworn in as the senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, following a legal battle in the Court of Appeal declaring her as the validly elected senator for the district.
The PDP Kogi State chapter is resolute in its determination to win all elections in 2027. We will not be distracted by these intimidation tactics, and we remain committed to our mission of providing quality representation to the people of Kogi State.
We urge all well-meaning Nigerians to join us in condemning this unjust recall exercise and suspension.
Together, we can protect our democracy and ensure that the voices of our people are heard.
