Payment of December Salaries on 14th: You’re making us proud, Engr. Bashiru Gegu Commends Gov. Ododo
The Kogi State Commissioner For Solid Minerals, Engr. Bashiru Gegu says the Kogi State Governor is making the State proud amongst commity of States in Nigeria in making workers welfare a priority.
In a statement issued to Newsmen, the Commissioner notes that Gov. Ododo is always scoring first on issues of salaries and workers welfare, praised him for being the first to pay December salaries on the 14th.
Engr. Bashiru praised the State Governor for scoring yet another first, said Kogi workers across the State are all happy with the Governor for his workers friendly policies, assured that by his people and masses oriented programs, he is already securing his second term.
Engr. Bashiru said with the payment of December salaries to Kogi workers on the 14th of December, said it will enable Civil Servants plan and enjoy their Christmas and New Year holidays after working so hard throughout the year.
Engr Bashiru described Gov Ododo as a gift from former Gov Yahaya Bello to the people of Kogi State, described Gov. Ododo as God sent, particularly to Civil Servants, said the salary will enable workers who want to travel for their holidays plan ahead without having to wait for salaries later in the month.
Engr. Bashiru said since the coming of Gov Ododo, workers tears has been
wiped away, described the Governor as workers friendly whose policies are top notch.
Engr. Bashiru commended the equal opportunity Gov. Bashiru has given the two major religions, said the same feat was extended to Muslims during the Eid El Kabir.
Engr. Bashiru praised Gov. Ododo for his deliberate efforts at uplifting the well-being and living standards of Civil Servants, particularly to always celebrate festive seasons with their loved ones in an atmosphere of fun fair.
