Onolememen Dumps PDP, Offers Reasons

Former Minister of Works and PDP stalwart, Chief Mike Oziegbe Onolememen CON, has sent a resignation letter to the chairman of the Edo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Dr Tony Aziegbemi that he is no longer interested in being a member of the crisis bedevilled party.

 

Onolememen, who has been a founding member of the PDP since 1998, gave reasons for leaving the party, which the state governor has taken as his private property.

 

In the letter addressed to the state chairman and copied to the acting national chairman, LGA and ward chairman, the former minister of state for Defense did not tell where he was heading yet.

Part of the letter reads , “I write to formally inform you and the entire members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, that I am resigning my membership from the Party immediate effective.

After carefully analysing the protracted conflict in the party and consulting with relevant stakeholders from my immediate constituency, political associates, friends and family, my decision was made.

I want to use the opportunity to thank everyone who has been part of the journey since I joined the Party in 1998.

Please accept the assurance of my highest regards.
