The Member, Representing Omala State Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Umar Yahaya has sent a message of felicitations to Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Abdullahi Halims on his emergence as Deputy Majority Leader of the 10th House Of Representatives.

Similarly, the Lawmaker in a statement issued to Newsmen has equally appreciated Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for making the emergence of Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Abdullahi Halims possible, thanked him for his political sagacity.

In the statement which reads thus: ” I feel highly elated to congratulate Member representing the good people of Ankpa/Olamaboro/Omala Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims, on his historic emergence as the Deputy Majority Leader of the 10th House of Representatives”.

” My Rt. Honourable, I feel immeasurably proud to identify with you on this latest honour, as it bears eloquent testimony to the fact that you distinguished yourself in both legislative and oversight functions in the 9th Assembly”.

” I wish to pay glowing tributes to His Excellency the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, for identifying the resourcefulness in you and supporting you to give worthy representation to the Federal Constituency in both the 9th and 10th Assemblies”.

” It is through his invaluable trust and support that the Federal Constituency now has the opportunity to produce a Principal Officer, the first of its Kind for the entire Kogi East, in the National Assembly under the current democratic dispensation”.

While there is no doubt that you will bring in your wealth of experience while in the first term in the Green Chamber as evidenced in your numerous legislative and oversight functions, youth/women empowerment and rural development initiatives, which recorded positive impacts, your promotion calls for more commitment and focus as would benefit our Constituency, Kogi State and Nigeria as a whole.

It is my earnest prayers that you will have an impactful tenure as the Deputy Majority leader of the 10th House of Representatives.

Once again, accept my heartfelt felicitations and that of the entire people of Omala State Constituency on your well-deserved elevation as Deputy Majority Leader.
