The Leadership of Iyara Devepment Movement (IDM) in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi has felicitated with the Olujumu of Ijumu Kingdom, His Majesty, Oba Williams Olusegun Ayeni JP on his birthday.
In a Congratulatory Message signed by the National President of IDM, Alhaji Aliyu Badaki, the Union described the Ijumu Paramount Ruler as a blessing to Ijumu land, Kogi State and Nigeria in general in view of his contributions to Nation building.
Alhaji Aliyu Badaki who extolled the role played by Oba Williams Olusegun Ayeni in the sustenance of peace in every Community in Ijumu, described the Traditional Ruler as a Pacesetter and bridge builder.
According to him, the Olujumu is a man of Peace that it passionate about the progress, unity and peace of Ijumu Kingdom, saying he is a pride to Ijumu sons and daughters both home and in the Diaspora.
He said “on behalf of the National Executives of IDM, Iyara Council of Chiefs and the entire good people of Iyara, we are happy to join other well meaning Ijumu sons and daughters to celebrate with His Majesty on his birthday. We use this opportunity to ACKNOWLEDGE AND HONOUR A GREAT LEADER, as well as a peace loving ruler whose devotion to the cause of our land is legendary.”
“Your Highness, you have been steadfast in defending the land against evil and underdevelopment thereby paving the way for the socio-economic and political development of our home during your reign. We will continue to value your courage and your efforts to making sure that Ijumu Kingdom remains one of the best throughout Okunland.” He added.
“As you celebrate another Birthday this year, we pray that God Almighty grant you Long life in sound Health to continue to rule the land as we move towards greatness.” Alhaji Aliyu Badaki prayed.
