Ohinoyi, New Appointments: Sen. Ohere Lauds Gov. Bello, Calls for more Commitment to Peace.


 

The former Senator representing the Central Senatorial District, Abubakar Ohere has commended Governor Yahaya Bello, CON on the appointment of a new Ohinoyi of Ebiraland and all other appointments approved by the State Executive Council today at it’s sitting in Lokoja.

Sen. Ohere who spoke with newsmen shortly after the announcement expressed gratitude to God almighty for his continued guidance for the Bello administration towards carrying out numerous reforms and actions that are most needed to improve on the well being of our people.

Ohere congratulated the people of Ebiraland and particularly His Royal Majesty Alhaji Tijanni Muhammed Anaje, for this new dawn.

Sen. Ohere also thanked the committee of king makers in Ebira land for their commitment to the peace and stability of the community in all the processes leading to the adoption of a candidate for the stool. “More commitment to peace is what we need now “Ohere said “

Sen. Ohere further appreciated Gov. Bello on all other appointments. On a special note, the former Senator hailed the appointment of Hajia Habitat Tijjani and Alh. Yakubu Adabenege as Accountant General and Auditor General respectively.

Sen. Ohere said, “They are eminently qualified and have worked hard serving the State”.

Sen. Ohere prayed to God to make the reign of the new Ohinoyi a blessing for Ebira land, pointing out that his reign would usher in the desired development and Prosperity the people have longed yearned for.
