The Kogi State Chapter, Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees has described Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo as a Messiah to Local Government workers in the State, pointing out that his approval for N72.500 minimum wage remains a watershed .
Comr. Mohammed Sanusi Inyanya, the Kogi State President, NULGE, made the disclosure in a statement issued to Newsmen in Lokoja, said Gov. Ododo has added and elongated the lives of Local Government workers with his pro local Government workers policies.
NULGE commended Gov. Ododo for the approval of the new minimum wage of ₦72,500 for civil servants in the state, pointing out that this gesture remains unprecedented in the annals of local Government administration in the State.
NULGE praised Governor Ododo Over New Minimum Wage Implementation that has been approved to start immediately, said ” our support for you now and if you choose to seek a second term remains total”.
NULGE praised the governor’s decision to immediately implement the wage increase, describing it as a landmark achievement that demonstrates the administration’s commitment to Local Government workers’ welfare.
“Sir, since you assumed office, you have consistently introduced people-oriented policies that have resonated positively with Kogites particularly LG workers”.
The statement noted that NULGE Expresses satisfaction with your stance and its positive impact on the state’s LG workforce. You started by increasing the percentage and took it to a hundred percent”.
This strong support and initiative, Culminating into your approval for the implementation of outstanding promotion and approval to cash back the promotion further attest to the fact that you are Local Government workers friendly”.
